Free Chakra Challenge


Whenever I start to feel stuck and feel that I can’t move forward, I turn to my chakras.

Do you believe that our bodies are made up of energy? This energy moves freely throughout our bodies when there are no blockages, however, when we experience blockages, the energy gets stuck. Think about a creek that is made up of flowing water. What happens when there is a blockage or an obstruction – the water doesn’t flow freely. A Sanskrit term, chakra means “wheel” or “disk”. Chakras are spinning wheels of energy or light. The responsibility of the chakras is to receive and allocate the energy needed to keep us functioning at optimal levels. When a chakra is blocked or not functioning properly, the energy becomes blocked resulting in physical illnesses or emotional imbalances. The chakras may affect our well-being on so many levels. For example, if we are feeling depressed, we may not be taking in the maximum amount of energy for our needs. There are many benefits of working with the chakras and ensuring that they are balanced and free flowing all the time.

Chakra clearing or unblocking is a great way to remove some or all of these feelings. Each week we will be focusing on one chakra with the meditation video and reflection prompt for journaling. Listen to the chakra meditation at least once a day for seven days. Complete the reflection by the end of the seven days.
